Frequently Asked Questions...

Q: Where are you based?

A: I'm based in Sellicks Beach on the Fleurieu Peninsula of Adelaide, but my office is everywhere!

Q: How long will it take to get my photos?

A: I understand that you're eager to see your images as soon as possible.  Most portrait sessions I can turn around in 48 hours, sometimes sooner, and I'll post sneak peeks on my social media as I go, so make sure you're following along!

Q: What are your payment terms?

A: Full payment is required at booking.  Payments are made via bank transfer.  

Q: What do I wear?

A: Something comfortable! I wouldn't recommend wearing a short skirt if you usually wear long pants. If you're not comfortable it will show in your images. I like muted colour tones, anything you would find in nature...sand + ocean, bush + ochre. Please avoid large logos or character clothing, and please leave your phones, wallets and any other items out of pockets - no one likes an unsightly bulge!

 

Q: What if it rains?

A: If we need to reschedule because of bad weather, we'll make the call together during the lead up to your booking. But remember that overcast days produce the best images, a little bit of drizzle never hurt anyone! I also carry clear umbrellas in my car + blankets at all times!

 

Q: Do I get the copyright to my photos?

A: The copyright remains with the photographer, but your images are delivered without any watermarks + you are free to share and use them as you wish. 

Q: What if I need to reschedule?

A: No problem at all, life is full of curveballs.  If you need to reschedule, please allow as much time as possible.  

Q: How many photos will I get?

A: Depending on which package you choose for your Family Portrait Session, I offer three packages, 15, 25 and 30 images.  However, you gallery will contain many more than this for you to choose from. This is usually in the region of 100-200 images. You can add on extra images to your package at an additional cost, please ask about this option on booking. Check out my packages on my Prices page.

Q: Can I have the RAW images?

A: The simple answer is, no.  By default I don't return RAW files to my clients.  I put my heart + soul into my editing, what I see on the day and the images I take are a vision of what I will later produce.  It's my art.

Q: Can I bring my dog?

A: YES! I love dogs! So long as the location allows dogs, they may have to be on a leash at some locations so please check before you bring your fur baby along.

Q: Do you do prints?

A: I don't, but I'm happy to make recommendations. I choose not to do prints as not everyone has the same budget or style and I'd hate to make you wait any longer to receive your images. By not offering prints you can enjoy your images now and order prints at your leisure and in a price range that suits your budget.
